Washington, February 25 (NationPress) President Donald Trump asserted that the United States has “obliterated Iran’s nuclear weapons program,” urged NATO allies to significantly increase their defense expenditures, and “ENDED 8 wars” in a bold display of American military and geopolitical might.

In what he termed “a breathtaking operation” called “Operation Midnight Hammer,” Trump informed Congress that the U.S. military had “obliterated Iran’s nuclear weapons program through an engagement on Iranian territory.”

“The U.S. has consistently maintained a policy of preventing Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon for decades,”

he stated. “While I prefer diplomatic solutions, I will not let the world’s foremost sponsor of terrorism possess nuclear capabilities.”

Trump positioned the operation within a larger national security framework, proclaiming, “It’s called PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH,” while highlighting that this year, the U.S. is investing a record $1 trillion in its Armed Forces.

He remarked that NATO nations had consented to contribute 5 percent of their GDP towards military defense, an increase from 2 percent, which many believed was unachievable.

Shifting focus to Latin America, Trump asserted that U.S. forces had “completely defeated the enemy, bringing an end to the tyranny of outlaw dictator Nicolas Maduro and delivering him to American justice.” He mentioned that Washington was “collaborating closely with the new president, Delcy Rodriguez, to unlock remarkable economic benefits for both our nations.”

The President also emphasized a firmer counter-narcotics stance, stating, “I have classified these Cartels as Foreign Terrorist Organizations and labeled illicit Fentanyl a Weapon of Mass Destruction.” He added that a new military initiative has “effectively halted its entry by sea.”

In a notable segment of his address, Trump claimed, “In my initial 10 months, I ENDED 8 wars—including those in Cambodia, Thailand, Pakistan, India, Kosovo, Serbia, and Israel and Iran.”

He continued, “We are diligently working to conclude the 9th conflict—the ongoing violence between Russia and Ukraine.”

New Delhi has consistently affirmed that unresolved matters with Islamabad are strictly bilateral and dismisses third-party mediation.

Linking foreign policy to economic influence, Trump defended his tariff approach. “One of the main reasons for our nation’s remarkable economic revival… was due to TARIFFS,” he asserted. Despite an “unfortunate ruling from the United States Supreme Court,” he insisted that “these impactful, nation-saving, peace-preserving tariffs will remain.”

“Over time, I believe that tariffs, financed by foreign nations, will significantly replace the current income tax system,” he added.

Iran continues to play a pivotal role in West Asian geopolitics and global energy markets. India has historically nurtured strategic partnerships with Tehran, especially in energy imports and regional connectivity projects.

In recent years, India and the United States have augmented defense and strategic collaboration, particularly in the Indo-Pacific, while New Delhi maintains a balanced relationship with competing global powers.
