Chennai, March 27 (NationPress) Uma Sethuraman, the widow of the late Tamil actor Sethuraman, renowned for his roles in blockbuster Tamil films such as ‘Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya’ and ‘Sakka Podu Podu Raja’, has expressed her heartfelt emotions in a touching post on the occasion of his sixth death anniversary. She conveyed the family's enduring hope that he might one day return to them.

In a heartfelt message shared on her Instagram, she reflected, "Another year has gone by. It’s March 26, 2026. The month that marks the last moments you spent with us. This is the first time in six years since your passing that our daughter Sahana has talked about you. One night, she cried deeply and asked, 'Amma, why does everyone have two parents at home, and I only have one?' I explained that many families are different, some with only one parent or sibling. She responded, 'But that’s not fair, Amma… we had an appa, and he is gone. He can't come back.' I was at a loss for words, but I hugged her tightly and prayed for her comfort.

Uma continued, "She has never questioned the circumstances of your absence. She rarely speaks of missing her father. I truly believe that your presence would have enriched her childhood. Yet, there are no regrets about what we cannot reclaim."

She expressed, "We only hope that one day you will return to us @dr_sethu. Our hearts and doors are always open. I envision you holding our little ones’ hands and walking alongside us throughout our lives. I strive to be strong for our children, both at work and home, but I still ache for you."

Reflecting on her journey through grief, she remarked, "When I ponder why I didn’t experience sleepless nights for months, or why I haven’t felt deeply depressed, I recognize the reason. Ma... I know you are watching over us every day. You guide us through every moment and are with us in every decision. You are the light illuminating our path in times of darkness. I still feel your love and heartbeat next to mine. Nothing has changed in these six years; if anything, I feel an even stronger connection to you. My heart beats solely for you now and forever."
