Mahakumbh Nagar, Jan 21 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, along with his entire cabinet, is scheduled to convene a special cabinet meeting in Prayagraj on Wednesday, January 22. All 54 ministers from the Uttar Pradesh cabinet are invited to participate in this meeting, where several vital proposals and schemes for the state are anticipated to be approved.

Post the meeting, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and the cabinet members will engage in a holy dip in the revered waters of Triveni Sangam.

The cabinet gathering will occur at the Triveni Sankul in Arail, commencing at 12 noon. The venue was altered to prevent inconvenience for pilgrims flocking to the Sangam. Originally, the meeting was set to take place at the Mela Authority Auditorium, but concerns regarding VIP security disrupting the movement of pilgrims led to this change.

After the meeting, ministers will journey from the Arail VIP Ghat to the Sangam via motorboats. At the Sangam, CM Yogi and the cabinet members will perform worship rituals and partake in the holy dip.

Reports indicate that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, along with Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak, as well as Cabinet Ministers Suresh Kumar Khanna, Surya Pratap Shahi, Swatantra Dev Singh, Baby Rani Maurya, Jaiveer Singh, Laxmi Narayan Chaudhary, Dharampal, Nand Gopal Nandi, Anil Rajbhar, and all 54 ministers, including those with independent charge and state ministers, will participate in the holy dip at the Sangam after the cabinet meeting.

This isn’t the first occasion where CM Yogi has led his cabinet to the Sangam. In 2019, during the Kumbh Mela, he performed a ceremonial dip alongside his ministers, Akhada Parishad President Narendra Giri, and various saints.

Additionally, a Hindi version of the Indo-Japanese animated movie ‘Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Ram’ is set to premiere at Mahakumbh on Wednesday.

The special viewing of the animated film will occur at 10:00 a.m. at the Divya Prem Seva Camp, Sector 6, near Netra Kumbh. This screening is part of numerous new features introduced by CM Yogi for this year’s magnificent and sacred Mahakumbh. For the first time in the event’s history, an animated film will be showcased during the festival.
