Dehradun, April 10 (NationPress) Uttarakhand's Chief Minister, Pushkar Singh Dhami, has called upon the Union Government to enhance air travel connections from Dehradun to crucial pilgrimage sites such as Varanasi, Prayagraj, and Ayodhya.
In response to this appeal, Union Minister of Civil Aviation, Rammohan Naidu Kinjarapu, conveyed in a formal letter that currently, there are 254 weekly round-trip flights operating from Dehradun to 11 different locations, including Ahmedabad, Bhubaneswar, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Kolkata, Delhi, Shamshabad (Hyderabad), Jaipur, Lucknow, Pune, and Kullu.
