Patna, Nov 3 (NationPress) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday unleashed a fierce critique of the INDIA bloc, humorously labeling three prominent alliance leaders as “Pappu, Tappu, and Appu.”
While addressing an election rally in the Kewati Assembly constituency of Darbhanga as part of the buildup to the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections, the UP Chief Minister targeted the Congress, RJD, and SP.
In a clever analogy to Mahatma Gandhi’s three symbolic monkeys, CM Yogi remarked, “Mahatma Gandhi had three monkeys -- one who does not speak lies, one who does not listen to wrong words, and one who does not see wrong things. Similarly, three monkeys have joined the INDI alliance -- Pappu, Tappu, and Appu. Pappu cannot speak the truth, Tappu cannot see the truth, and Appu cannot hear the truth.”
He also criticized the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, for making remarks that he deemed unfavorable to the nation during his international trips.
Pointing fingers at the RJD, CM Yogi claimed that Bihar suffered from chaos and violence during the rule of Lalu Prasad Yadav.
“Under the RJD government, there were 70 massacres from 1990 to 2005. Naxalite activities peaked during this period, and caste-based organizations were created to incite conflict among communities,” CM Yogi stated.
He reiterated his slogan, “Batoge to Katoge and Ek Rahoge Safe Rahoge,” during the gathering.
CM Yogi Adityanath asserted that only a NDA government could facilitate the swift development of the state.
He cited the ongoing construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya and the temple for Goddess Janki in Sitamarhi as examples of cultural initiatives being accomplished under the NDA.
He further mentioned that the proposed Ram–Janki Corridor linking Ayodhya and Sitamarhi is being developed at an accelerated pace.
Claiming that travel time between Lucknow and Darbhanga has significantly decreased due to infrastructure upgrades, CM Yogi noted, “Previously, it took 16 hours; now it only takes 45 minutes. This showcases the strength of a double-engine government.”
Yogi also emphasized that since Prime Minister Narendra Modi took office, law and order in Bihar has improved, leading to greater peace in recent years.
He added that Modi has honored the identity of Mithila by establishing the Makhana Board.
In his critique of the opposition, CM Yogi claimed that during the RJD-Congress era, essential rations meant for the underprivileged were misappropriated.
He also mentioned that the abrogation of Article 370 under the Modi government now allows anyone, including those from Bihar, to settle in Jammu and Kashmir without restriction.
