In a message disseminated via social media platform X, the airline conveyed its gratitude for the “steadfast and outstanding support extended in every conceivable manner” by authorities following the tragedy, which resulted in the loss of nearly 275 lives.
The airline also commended the dedication of healthcare professionals, students, and staff at Civil Hospital and Rajasthan Hospital in Ahmedabad for their unwavering service and empathy.
Air India recognized the contributions from Tata Group companies, highlighting their teams' relentless commitment to aiding the families affected.
In its announcement, the airline confirmed that it has reached out to the next of kin of all passengers and crew members, offering condolences and guidance on the subsequent steps.
Over 400 family members have gathered in Ahmedabad, where Air India teams are providing on-ground assistance.
