India-Oman FTA set to take effect June 1, 2026: Piyush Goyal
Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal on Tuesday, 12 May said the free trade agreement (FTA) between India and Oman, signed in December 2025, is expected to come into force from 1 June 2026. The announcement came after Goyal met with an Omani delegation visiting New Delhi to discuss ways to deepen trade and investment ties.
