London, March 19 (NationPress) The Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) is presenting India’s agricultural products, processed foods, and alcoholic beverages at the International Food & Drink Event (IFE), which commenced in London on Tuesday.

A group of 16 prominent Indian exporters from various states, including Gujarat, Punjab, Telangana, Haryana, Maharashtra, Bihar, Himachal Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu, are participating with 27 representatives showcasing a wide range of premium offerings at the India Pavilion, creating business opportunities in the UK market.

This pavilion features an impressive variety of locally sourced value-added products, such as different types of agricultural produce, processed foods, and beverages.

The inauguration of the India Pavilion was attended by the Deputy High Commissioner of India in the UK, Sujit Ghosh, and First Secretary (Trade, Tourism and OCI) Rakesh Dahiya, alongside officials from APEDA, emphasizing India’s dedication to showcasing its agricultural products on a global platform.

Key attractions at the exhibition include fresh fruits like mangoes, pomegranates, and guavas, a premium selection of processed foods, and a variety of Indian liquor brands, such as Rampur, Sula, Godawan, Old Monk Coffee Rum, Jamun Gin, and Jaisalmer, among others.

Attendees can explore an extensive range of products including Basmati rice, Honey, Namkeen, Peanut Butter, Makhana, Sauces, Millets, Soya Chaap, Baby Corn, Masala Soda, dried Petha, and Ready-to-Cook (RTC) meals like Rajma Rice, Samosas, Dal Rice, Sarson Ka Saag, Chana Rice, and Coconuts.

There is a strong focus on promoting organic products, millets, and Indian fruits such as mangoes and pomegranates. Sampling sessions are held, allowing visitors to savor authentic Indian flavors with dishes like Basmati Rice Biryani and Millet Khichdi.

India’s presence at IFE London 2025 is part of its strategic initiatives to amplify the global reach of Indian agricultural exports, providing a valuable platform for exporters to connect with potential buyers, explore new business partnerships, and promote the diverse offerings of India’s agricultural and processed food sectors internationally.
