New Delhi, Feb 8 (NationPress) On Saturday, artificial intelligence (AI) researcher and podcaster Lex Fridman expressed an enthusiastic interest in exploring the human side of Prime Minister Narendra Modi during an upcoming podcast episode.

Fridman also revealed that he intends to undertake a 48-72 hour fast prior to their conversation.

He commented, “Considering the rich and complex history of India, along with his significant role in it, Modi's human aspect is truly intriguing. For instance, he has frequently engaged in multi-day fasts (over 9 days) for spiritual purposes,” Fridman noted in a post on the social media platform X.

By comparing his own fasting practices to Modi’s well-established multi-day fasts, Fridman added, “I also fast regularly. Therefore, I’ll do a 48-72 hour fast once I arrive in India before our discussion.”

Fridman characterized PM Modi as a “captivating individual” and expressed his anticipation and gratitude for the opportunity to converse with him for several hours on the podcast.

“Narendra Modi stands out as one of the most captivating individuals I have ever researched. I am eager to engage in a lengthy podcast conversation with him in a few weeks,” Fridman remarked.

“This serves as a wonderful chance to meditate and reflect on how fortunate I am to be alive, to possess this unique mind that perceives beauty even amid darkness, and most importantly, to cherish the love in my life.”

In January, Fridman announced that he would be conducting a podcast with PM Modi “at the end of February.”

“I’ve never visited India, thus I am thrilled to finally explore and fully experience the many aspects of its vibrant, historic culture and its incredible people,” he posted on X.

Fridman has previously engaged in in-depth discussions with some of the world's most influential personalities, including Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg, Donald Trump, and Volodymyr Zelensky.

He is expected to discuss India's progress in AI, digital governance, and its global influence, along with key initiatives like Digital India and Make in India.

Notably, this podcast will mark PM Modi’s second appearance, following his debut on People by WTF, hosted by Zerodha co-founder Nikhil Kamath.
