New Delhi, March 1 (NationPress) Mahindra and Mahindra Limited (M&M) announced impressive sales growth for February 2026, with total auto sales soaring by 18 percent year-on-year to 97,177 vehicles, including exports.

The company highlighted that the Utility Vehicles sector was a primary contributor to this success. M&M sold 60,018 SUVs in the domestic market, reflecting a 19 percent increase compared to the same month previous year.

When factoring in exports, total utility vehicle sales reached 60,685 units. In the Commercial Vehicles category, domestic sales hit 24,585 units, marking a 10 percent rise year-on-year.

Nalinikanth Gollagunta, the CEO of the Automotive Division at M&M, commented on the strong performance, stating February's SUV sales amounted to 60,018 units, showcasing robust customer demand across the lineup.

He noted that the company's total vehicle sales of 97,177 units represented an 18 percent annual increase.

In parallel, Renault India also experienced notable growth in February. The company reported wholesale dispatches of 3,495 units for the month, which is a 31 percent increase from 2,676 units sold in February last year.

During the first two months of 2026, Renault India achieved a cumulative growth of 32 percent compared to the same timeframe in 2025.

The company attributed its growth to the strong demand for its revamped Kiger and Triber models.

The new Triber model led the charge with a remarkable 57 percent year-on-year increase in February.

Renault India further noted that its updated product lineup has positively affected brand perception, maintaining continuous growth since the third quarter of 2025.

In this period, Renault recorded 9 percent growth in Q3 CY25, 27 percent in Q4 CY25, and 32 percent growth in the initial two months of 2026.
