New Delhi, Dec 9 (NationPress) MOIL, India's leading producer of manganese ore, has concluded November with an outstanding array of operational accomplishments throughout its value chain, as reported in an official statement on Tuesday.

November saw the Raw Material Handling System (RMHS) achieving record-breaking feats with a peak of 616 wagons tipped in a single day on November 21. The plant also recorded its highest monthly base mix production of 518,886 tonnes.

At the Sinter Plant, NSL maintained its positive trend, setting daily and monthly production records with a remarkable output of 15,590 tonnes in one day on November 30, and a total of 414,271 tonnes for the month, operating at over 105% of its rated capacity, according to the official statement.

The Blast Furnace demonstrated impressive efficiency, achieving a record hot metal output of 11,315 tonnes on November 28, which corresponds to 119% of its rated capacity, and a total production of 280,049 tonnes for the month, surpassing 101% capacity utilization.

Importantly, NSL set a new monthly average low fuel rate of 519 kg per tonne of hot metal by utilizing only Sinter and Ore in the burden, one of the most efficient rates in the nation, alongside a highest monthly average PCI rate of 164 kg per tonne of hot metal.

Amitava Mukherjee, CMD, commented, “Our continuous record-breaking achievements across various units reflect the commitment, discipline, and determination of our team.”
