Samsung Set to Launch Innovative AI-Driven Home Appliances at CES 2025

Seoul, Dec 18 (NationPress) Samsung Electronics has revealed plans to introduce its latest home appliance collection enhanced by artificial intelligence (AI) technology during the upcoming CES event next month, as stated by the company on Wednesday.
The collection will feature the new Bespoke refrigerator, along with a washer and dryer that incorporate AI home solutions. These innovations will be presented at CES 2025, which is scheduled to occur at the Las Vegas Convention Center from January 7 to 10, according to the South Korean firm.
The term AI home refers to Samsung's innovative approach to linking all its home appliances to the AI-powered SmartThings connectivity platform, which facilitates remote monitoring and control of the devices, as reported by the Yonhap news agency.
The enhanced AI home technology will empower users to manage the power and settings of all connected home appliances directly from the touch screen on any of the devices, Samsung elaborated.
Additionally, users will have the ability to access the internet and various online applications, including YouTube and music streaming services, on these appliances, the company mentioned.
Notably, the AI refrigerator models will serve as a central hub for the SmartThings connectivity platform, linking not only home appliances but also a variety of household items such as door locks, curtains, and lighting systems.
"Samsung's screen-based home appliances offer a distinct competitive advantage by delivering a seamless connectivity experience through screen-based AI home," stated Moon Jong-seung, vice president of the digital appliances business division at Samsung Electronics.
"We are committed to continuously launching a diverse array of AI home appliances and services aimed at assisting users in minimizing household chores while enjoying a plethora of device connectivity experiences."
