Ahmedabad, June 6 (NationPress) The Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International (SVPI) Airport in Ahmedabad, managed by Adani Airport Holdings Limited (AAHL), announced a significant achievement in its quest for customer service excellence. SVPI Airport has been awarded the esteemed ‘Level 4’ accreditation in Airport Customer Experience by the Airports Council International (ACI), marking a notable advancement from the Level 3 accreditation obtained in May of the previous year.

This accolade positions SVPI Airport among a distinguished group of airports worldwide, ranking third in India, and showcases a strong dedication to improving passenger experience at all levels.

Key initiatives that contributed to the Level 4 accreditation of SVPI Airport include the digitalization of SOPs, the launch of the Aviio App, Digi Yatra, and Self-Baggage Drop at both terminals—T1 and T2—and a new rejection line for baggage handling, increasing capacity from 600 to 1,600 bags per hour.

Additionally, 24 smart cleaning robots are now operational at T1 and T2 for superior hygiene, alongside AI-based surveillance systems for enhanced safety and project management.

The recently launched Adani One App has unified and improved the passenger experience, and a fast-track immigration program for trusted travelers has been initiated.

"Free Wi-Fi kiosks, Flight Information Displays, IPTVs, and curated background music are now available for a seamless digital experience," the airport added.
