ACI Accreditation Affirms CSMIA's Status as a Global Airport Operations Leader: Jeet Adani

Mumbai, Jan 8 (NationPress) The esteemed Level 5 accreditation from Airports Council International (ACI) for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) underscores the airport's position as a global frontrunner in airport operations and passenger services, stated Jeet Adani, Director of Adani Airport Holdings Limited (AAHL), on Wednesday.

CSMIA, operated by AAHL, has become the first airport in India and the third worldwide to reach this significant achievement.

“CSMIA is elated to be recognized among the world's elite airports. This distinguished accreditation is a testament to our commitment to enhancing the passenger experience,” expressed Jeet Adani.

As per the company, implementing design thinking methodologies at CSMIA has led to the creation of innovative solutions addressing the needs of stakeholders, including airlines, retail and lounge partners, and regulatory bodies.

The ongoing collection and analysis of customer feedback and CSAT scores have been instrumental in pinpointing pain points and identifying areas for enhancement. Employees, vendor partners, and stakeholders such as CISF, Immigration, Customs, and Airlines play a vital role in customer service. All teams at CSMIA have gone through extensive training designed to facilitate seamless passenger journeys.

A significantly improved digital gateway program has enriched the travel experience for both DigiYatra and non-DigiYatra passengers. The number of e-gates at the entrance to T2 has surged from 24 to an impressive 68 – the highest count of e-gates at any airport in India.

The launch of the aviio app – an unprecedented digital initiative among Indian airports – aims to enhance collaboration among stakeholders at the airport for better passenger service, as stated by CSMIA.

Another notable feature is the revival of the popular Pawfect program, which includes nine comfort dogs stationed at Terminal 2 departures,” it added.
