New Delhi, Oct 1 (NationPress) Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) announced a remarkable sales performance for September, achieving 31,091 units sold, which signifies a 16% increase compared to 26,847 units during the same month last year.

Of this total, 27,089 units were sold domestically, while 4,002 units were exported, according to the automaker.

In the first half of the current financial year (April–September 2025), the company recorded cumulative sales of 184,959 units, reflecting a 14% growth from 162,623 units in the corresponding period of FY24.

Varinder Wadhwa, Vice President – Sales, Service and Used Car Business at TKM, remarked that the recent GST reforms and the festive season have positively influenced customer sentiment.

“Thanks to the significant GST reforms and the arrival of the festive season, market sentiments have been quite positive,” Wadhwa noted.

“We have transferred the full benefits of GST to our customers, which has significantly enhanced demand across our lineup. With festivities gaining traction, we are optimistic about a robust performance going forward,” he added.

“Our current focus is on ensuring timely deliveries so that customers can enjoy celebrating in their preferred Toyota,” he further stated.

In September, TKM also unveiled the refreshed Toyota Rumion, which is now equipped with six airbags as standard in all variants, thereby enhancing its safety features.

The company has also lowered vehicle prices following the GST benefits and has collaborated with Japan's prestigious performance group, DRUM TAO, as brand ambassadors.

Toyota manufactures popular models such as the Innova HyCross, Innova Crysta, Fortuner, and Legender at its Bidadi facility, while its second plant produces the Camry Hybrid, Urban Cruiser Hyryder, and Hilux.

Its range also includes models like the Glanza, Rumion, and Urban Cruiser Taisor, in addition to fully imported vehicles such as the Vellfire and LC 300.
