Mumbai, March 27 (NationPress) Actor, director, and writer Adivi Sesh is preparing for the debut of his new film 'Dacoit' and has candidly discussed his battles with anxiety.

In an interview with IANS during the promotional activities for 'Dacoit', Sesh revealed that even with a commendable career and a rich filmography, he still experiences a sense of unease during early morning shoots.

He expressed to IANS, "I struggle with significant anxiety, which causes me to feel frightened before a morning shoot. The initial hours of the day can be quite daunting. I employ various small routines, from aromatherapy to placing ice on my eyes in the morning, which I consider as habitual practices that help me cope."

Additionally, he noted, "On a deeper emotional level, I've come to realize that I often try to align my feelings the night before to suit the emotional demands of the scene. For instance, if I have an intense scene to perform, I tend to avoid conversations that morning, knowing that I will be emotionally exposed."

Previously, Sesh highlighted the unique strength of Telugu cinema, noting that, unlike many other Indian film industries, it retains a strong emotional essence as it is less governed by corporate entities.

When asked what differentiates Telugu cinema from its counterparts, he stated, "It's about emotional ownership. Let me clarify: Telugu films are still produced by individual producers. Some may have mortgaged their homes or sold land to fund a film. Others might have succeeded in real estate, or a doctor may venture into film production. These individuals are behind our films that gross INR 300, 400, or even 500 crores."

Sesh emphasized that Telugu films are primarily not produced through large studios.

Meanwhile, 'Dacoit', with production led by Supriya Yarlagadda, is scheduled for release in theaters on April 10, 2026.
