Mumbai, March 31 (NationPress) The legendary Amitabh Bachchan has embraced the viral Studio Ghibli trend, joining a host of celebrities including Sachin Tendulkar, Arjun Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Katrina Kaif, Parineeti Chopra, and many others by posting images inspired by the beloved animation studio.
Amitabh shared a series of Studio Ghibli-themed photos from a meet-and-greet with his fans, whom he affectionately calls his “Extended Family,” outside his residence in Mumbai.
In his blog, he remarked: “...and Ghibli .. takes over the world...in the reality of the realm of communication… (sic).”
The celebrated actor also posted a video discussing the growing trend of “reels.”

Studio Ghibli is a renowned Japanese animation studio located in Koganei, Tokyo. Established in 1985, it was founded by directors Hayao Miyazaki and Isao Takahata, along with producer Toshio Suzuki.
The studio has a significant footprint in the animation landscape and has broadened its reach to include various formats such as short films, television commercials, and two television movies. Recently, OpenAI’s ChatGPT introduced a feature that transforms images into the enchanting style of Ghibli animations.
On March 30, the icon disclosed that preparations for the upcoming season of “Kaun Banega Crorepati” have commenced, with the “initial step” being the promotional material.
“Work serves as the remedy for one’s fate .. and the preparations for the SHOW have truly started for the next season .. hence the first step will be the promo to welcome registrations (sic),” he expressed on his blog.
