The production faced tragedy in July when a stuntman died during a car stunt for the film. This incident left the team heartbroken. Renowned Tamil director Pa Ranjith's Neelam Productions expressed their sorrow over the loss, emphasizing the impact on everyone involved.
Pa Ranjith shared a heartfelt statement regarding the sudden passing of stunt artist Mohan Raj on 13th July in Nagapattinam district of Tamil Nadu. The production team's grief extended to his family, friends, and colleagues who cherished him as both a co-worker and a friend.
They noted that a day meticulously planned for safety and clarity had abruptly turned tragic, highlighting the unexpected loss of a highly skilled and respected stunt artist.
In mourning Mohan Raj’s passing, the production house emphasized his legacy as a remarkable stunt artist and a compassionate individual.
"He wished to be remembered for his exceptional work, and that’s how he will always remain in our hearts," they stated.
