Mumbai, Sep 9 (NationPress) Business mogul Ashneer Grover has embraced a fresh challenge as the host of the intriguing reality show, 'Rise & Fall'.
In an exclusive conversation with IANS, Grover explained his motivation behind taking on this role.
He mentioned that the show's premise resonates with the stark reality of our world, which is distinctly segregated into the privileged and the underprivileged. Nevertheless, he emphasized that starting from the bottom does not preclude one from ascending to greater heights.
Grover stated: 'What captivated me was my long-standing admiration for reality television—it's widely popular, yet often overlooked in discussions, despite its vast audience. This show highlights the societal divide, openly acknowledging that while some individuals possess wealth, others must begin from ground zero.'
'In 'Rise & Fall', there exists a penthouse and a basement—contestants can transition freely between these levels at any moment, regardless of their starting point. The show will vividly illustrate the journey of individuals rising from the basement to the penthouse, as well as the fall of those descending from the penthouse to the basement, presenting a narrative very much aligned with reality. I found this concept refreshingly unique, which is why I accepted the role,' added the 'Shark Tank India' judge.
This week, the 'Rise and Fall' house has been divided into two factions: Workers and Rulers. Contestants such as Arjun Bijlani, Kubbra Sait, Sangeeta Phogat, Anaya Bangar, Aarush Bhola, Akriti Negi, and Noorin Sha are battling it out as Workers, while Kiku Sharda, Dhanashree Verma, Aditya Narayan, Aahana Kumra, Bali, Nayandeep Rakshit, Arbaz Patel, and Pawan Singh sit atop their thrones as Rulers.
'Rise and Fall' is broadcasted on Amazon MX Player at 12 PM and on Sony Entertainment Television at 10:30 PM.
