Los Angeles, Feb 11 (NationPress) Actress Christina Ricci revealed that her three-year-old daughter, Cleopatra, addresses her by her first name.
During an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show with her Yellowjackets co-stars to promote the upcoming season 3 of the Showtime series, Ricci humorously noted the differences between her daughter and her 10-year-old son, Freddie.
She explained how Freddie prefers to stay close to home while Cleopatra is quite independent. “She calls me Christina,” Ricci shared with a chuckle.
“‘Christina, I need ice and water!’”
Host Drew Barrymore responded, “What an interesting soul.”
Ricci recounted a moment when her daughter woke up in the middle of the night and called out, “Mama. Daddy.” Then she heard, “Christina!” which made her jump out of bed feeling quite startled.
Cleopatra is the daughter of Ricci and her husband Mark Hampton, while her son Freddie is from her previous relationship with James Heerdegen.
In an interview with people.com in October, Ricci mentioned that 2024 would be the first year her daughter Cleopatra would go out for trick-or-treating in a full costume.
“I’m not a huge fan of Halloween, but my youngest daughter, who is nearly 3, is creepily fascinated with all things Halloween,” Ricci stated.
“She’s going to experience her first Halloween in costume. It should be quite fun. She’s very excited!”
In April 2024, Ricci shared a photo and video on her Instagram from her son’s field trip. She was seen smiling in the back of a school bus while wearing oversized sunglasses.
The accompanying video showed two buses parked side by side with students cheering out the windows.
“I chaperoned a 4th-grade field trip today. I’m permanently deaf in one ear from the bus ride,” Ricci humorously captioned the post.
