Mumbai, Sep 8 (NationPress) Renowned television star Deepika Singh, currently starring in the show "Mangal Lakshmi", expressed her gratitude after filming the Ganpati Visarjan sequence on the concluding day of Ganesh Chaturthi.
She shared the challenges of executing such a detailed sequence for a daily show, revealing that she worked tirelessly from 1 PM to 6:15 PM without a break, fully adorned in heavy makeup and a Navvari saree.
Deepika shared on her Instagram: "I am grateful to the universe that despite the weather predictions of heavy rain, we managed to shoot and complete this sequence. I didn't even take a moment for a bio break from 1 PM to 6:15 PM as I was in a Navvari saree and the vanity was far away. This wasn’t a directive; I am conveying that the entire crew, especially the lead actor, faces immense stress during such sequences in a show that airs daily."
She also posted a behind-the-scenes video from the Ganpati Visarjan sequence for "Mangal Lakshmi", featuring the song "Sadda Dil Vi Tu" from the movie "ABCD - Any Body Can Dance".
Deepika noted that the day of filming coincided with the final day of Visarjan, and they shot the sequence amidst actual Ganpati visarjans, surrounded by devotees chanting 'Ganpati Bappa Morya'.
"Everything feels wonderful when we can deliver a performance as expected and complete it on schedule. Coincidentally, we were filming on the last day of visarjan, so the actual Ganpati visarjans were happening simultaneously. The energy was electric, with devotees all around. The air resonated with the sounds of Ganpati Bappa Morya."
She concluded her post with appreciation for her audience, stating, "Thank you to everyone for your unwavering support of our show, tuning in from Monday to Sunday, 9 PM to 10 PM."
