Mumbai, March 27 (NationPress) In a notable advancement regarding the Disha Salian case, Nilesh Ojha, the legal representative of her father, Satish Salian, has urged for a recreation of the incident and a narco test of Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray and other implicated parties.

Disha, who was the former manager of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, tragically passed away in June 2020 after falling from the 14th floor of a residential building in the Malad locality.

Ojha’s request followed a meeting with Joint Commissioner of Police, Lakshmi Gautam, where he put forth three primary demands concerning the investigation.

Ojha informed IANS, saying: "We met with Joint CP Lakshmi Gautam ji, and we outlined three essential demands. Firstly, our complaint has been officially recorded by the minister and the government. They confirmed that it will be forwarded to the Special Investigation Team (SIT). However, the government noted that a technical issue must be resolved first—this complaint involves gang rape and murder, necessitating a formal crime number before further action can occur."

He elaborated: "Our second request was for police protection for all parties involved in this case, particularly the witnesses. We highlighted that some individuals might be categorized as having experienced accidents, while others could be labeled as suicides. We’ve urged the police to ensure safety for the witnesses to motivate them to come forward."

Ojha also expressed his discontent with the lack of progress from the SIT over the past 15 months.

"The SIT has not undertaken any substantial actions. It has neither notified the family nor conducted any 'scene recreation' to challenge the narrative suggesting that Disha fell from a height of 20 feet. This needs to be recreated to validate the story. We seek directives for this scene recreation," he emphasized.

The attorney also highlighted the necessity for a narco test for key accused individuals in the case.

“Satish Salian, Disha’s father, has requested that a narco test be administered on the accused, including Aaditya Thackeray. Their consent is pivotal," Ojha explained.

Ojha further alleged that there are eyewitnesses who observed notable actors such as Aditya Pancholi, Dino Morea, and Aaditya Thackeray, alongside his bodyguards, implicated in the alleged gang-rape of the celebrity manager.

"We possess five eyewitnesses ready to testify in court, but their lives are in jeopardy, and the police must provide them adequate protection," he asserted.

The lawyer also criticized former Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh, accusing him of attempting to obscure the case.

"Param Bir Singh tried to conceal the incident. He conducted a press conference claiming that Aaditya Thackeray was not present at the scene and stated he had reviewed CCTV footage. However, I want to point out that mobile tower data for Aaditya Thackeray, Aditya Pancholi, and Dino Morea confirms their presence at the location. Param Bir Singh’s statements are entirely false," Ojha concluded.
