Los Angeles, Jan 12 (NationPress) English actor Tom Holland's father, Dominic Holland, is confident that the bond between his son and Zendaya will endure the challenges they face.
In a recent post on Patreon, Dominic Holland shared insights about his eldest child's romance with the 28-year-old actress, expressing his belief that they are destined for longevity, despite the hurdles that come with their high-profile relationship, as reported by People magazine.
"I do worry that their combined fame will intensify their visibility and the accompanying pressures, yet they consistently amaze me with their ability to manage everything gracefully," stated Dominic, 57, regarding the couple, who have recently announced their engagement.
He acknowledged that, "Show business is a complicated arena for relationships, particularly for well-known couples who often face public scrutiny and numerous failures," and referenced his own marriage to Nikki Holland as an inspiring model for Tom, 28, and Zendaya.
Dominic conveyed, "With Nikki leading our family and my 'insights' available, my experiences of stumbling yet achieving success simultaneously give me full faith that they will forge a prosperous partnership."
According to People, Tom and Zendaya, who portray the on-screen couple Peter Parker and Michelle 'MJ' Jones in the Spider-Man films, initially claimed for years that their relationship was purely platonic.
However, they were later seen sharing a kiss in a vehicle in July 2021, confirming their off-screen romance.
Earlier this month, Zendaya was spotted at the 2025 Golden Globes wearing a diamond ring on her left hand, igniting engagement rumors.
A family source subsequently confirmed to People that the duo is preparing to tie the knot.
"He's always been infatuated with her. He always recognized she was the one. Their connection is truly unique," an insider remarked, highlighting that Tom shared the engagement news with friends.
