Los Angeles, March 26 (NationPress) Hollywood actress Gwyneth Paltrow is coping with the heartbreaking loss of her cherished canine companions. The actress disclosed that she is experiencing a challenging time following the passing of her two family dogs, Nero and Daffodil.

The 52-year-old Academy Award winner shared on her Instagram Stories during an “Ask Me Anything” session that she recently lost two of her beloved pets, according to reports from People magazine.

The conversation on Instagram began with a follower asking, “Have you ever lost a dog and how did you cope with the grief?”

“I’m sorry you’re asking this,” Paltrow replied. “I lost two dogs recently, with our little Maltese, Daffodil, passing away just last week after being with us for about 15 years.”

According to People, Paltrow also mentioned the loss of their “big Shepherd” Nero in November. “So, it’s been a difficult year concerning our dogs,” she stated. “We still have one left who is very protective,” referring to their dog, Gaucho.

Gwyneth Paltrow shared her insights on managing the grief of losing a pet: “It’s similar to any other loss. You have to honor them, cherish them, and keep their memory alive,” she explained. She added, “Love the dog you still have even more, and that’s what I am doing.”

Over the years, Paltrow has shared several pictures of her three dogs. For National Dog Day in 2021, she posted separate photos of Gaucho, Nero, and Daffodil.

She included a touching photo of Nero relaxing on the couch alone, as well as two selfies with Gaucho and Daffodil. “Happy #nationaldogday from Gaucho, Nero, Daffodil, and me,” she captioned the Instagram post on August 26, 2021.

A year earlier, she shared an adorable snapshot of the three dogs lined up, with Gaucho at the front, Daffodil in the center, and Nero standing proudly in the back.
