Mumbai, Nov 4 (NationPress) Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi, who has become a part of the cast for “Delhi Crime Season 3,” shared her thoughts on the experience of working on this acclaimed series.
During her insights from the set, Huma explained why she didn’t experience the typical feeling of being a “new kid on the block,” highlighting the generous welcome and inspiring atmosphere she encountered while working with the team. At the trailer launch event, Huma conveyed her respect for the Delhi Crime cast, commending the outstanding performances by Shefali Shah, Rasika Dugal, and others involved in the series. She mentioned that being part of such a remarkable ensemble was a privilege, and she felt a significant responsibility to uphold the show's legacy and its beloved characters.
The actress from ‘Jolly LLB 3’ noted that the team's kindness and camaraderie immediately made her feel at ease on set. Even though she joined in the third season, she did not feel like an outsider. Huma specifically enjoyed working alongside Shefali Shah, as they shared numerous pivotal scenes.
Huma Qureshi remarked, “I think what Shefali Shah has accomplished and what Rasika and everyone else has contributed to the show is remarkable. It’s an honor to be part of this universe. I felt the pressure to bring my A-game, knowing that these are such cherished characters that you all have supported through the years.”
“It was genuinely enjoyable, and they were incredibly welcoming. It didn’t feel like I was a newcomer; they were all so sweet. Of course, Shefali and I had more scenes together because of the ‘Badi Didi’ team. It was a blast. I did not feel like I was entering a new environment or that I was the new kid on the block,” she added.
Shefali Shah will reprise her iconic role as DCP Vartika Chaturvedi, affectionately known as Madam Sir, in “Delhi Crime Season 3.” The series will also feature Rajesh Tailang and Rasika Dugal returning to their respective roles, while Huma Qureshi joins the ensemble cast this season. The eagerly awaited third installment of this celebrated crime drama is set to premiere on Netflix on November 13.
