Chennai, May 28 (NationPress) Producer S R Prabhu has officially announced that filming for director Lokesh Kanakaraj's highly anticipated action drama 'Kaithi 2', starring actor Karthi in the lead role, is set to commence by the end of this year.
During a media interaction at an event, producer S R Prabhu, whose production house is behind this upcoming project, stated, "The groundwork for 'Kaithi 2' is already underway. In fact, preparations for filming started a month ago. The shooting is expected to kick off by the end of the year. Actor Karthi is scheduled to start filming for his movie with director Tamizh, acclaimed for the cop drama Taanakaran, next month. Once Karthi wraps that project, he will shift his focus to 'Kaithi 2'."
