Kamal Haasan's Lighthearted Approach to His New Script

Mumbai, Dec 20 (NationPress) The legendary actor Kamal Haasan, who is presently in the United States, amusingly stated that he is “handling” his new script with “kid gloves.”
Kamal took to Instagram, posting a photo of himself at a clothing store. In the images, the superstar is captured trying on tan-colored gloves.
Accompanying the picture, the actor, casually dressed in beige sweatpants and a dark jacket, wrote: “Handling my new script with kid gloves!”
Just five days ago, Kamal was spotted enjoying the chilly weather in Chicago.
He shared a series of photos on Instagram, showcasing himself against the stunning backdrop of the city. The acclaimed actor was dressed in stylish winter attire including an overcoat, a scarf, and pants. In one of the pictures, he poses on a bridge.
He captioned it: “Chicago also chills!”
Kamal will soon appear in director Mani Ratnam’s film “Thug Life.” In November, he had penned a heartfelt note requesting fans to simply refer to him by his name.
In a post on X, Haasan expressed appreciation for the affectionate titles he has been given, including “Ulaganayagan.” However, he graciously declined such titles or prefixes, viewing himself as a lifelong student of cinema.
The actor remarked, “The art of cinema transcends beyond any one individual and I am but a student of the craft, forever hoping to evolve, learn and grow. Cinema, like any other form of creative expression, belongs to all.”
He emphasized that it is essential for the artist not to be placed above the art.
“I prefer to remain grounded, constantly aware of my imperfections and my duty to improve. Hence, after considerable reflection, I feel compelled to respectfully decline all such titles or prefixes.”
“I humbly request that all my fans, the media, members of the film fraternity, party cadre, and fellow Indians, to refer to me simply as Kamal Haasan or Kamal or KH. Thank you again for your gestures of kindness over the years. Please know that this decision comes from a place of humility and a desire to remain true to my roots and purpose, to always be one among all of us, the lovers of this beautiful art form,” Kamal concluded.
