Los Angeles, Dec 17 (NationPress) The acclaimed Hollywood actor Leonardo DiCaprio has revealed an interesting fact about one of his most celebrated films. He confessed that he has never actually watched 'Titanic'.
In a recent chat with actress Jennifer Lawrence, the star of 'Don't Look Up' was asked if he had revisited 'Titanic'. Leo responded, “No. I haven’t seen it before?” Lawrence replied, “Oh, you should. I bet you could watch it now, it’s so good.”
DiCaprio then inquired, “I don’t really watch my films, do you?” Lawrence humorously replied, “No. I’ve never made something like ‘Titanic’; if I did, I would watch it. Once I was quite intoxicated and decided to watch 'American Hustle' to see if I was good at acting, but I don’t remember the outcome.”
According to People, DiCaprio reiterated his tendency not to view his own films during a conversation with his director Paul Thomas Anderson in August.
He shared with Esquire magazine, “I rarely watch any of my films, but there’s one I have seen more than others: ‘The Aviator’. It was a significant moment for me. I had collaborated with Marty (Scorsese) on Gangs of New York and had carried around a book about Howard Hughes for a decade.”
Reflecting on that experience, he noted, “By the time I made that movie, I was 30. It was the first time I felt like more than just an actor; I felt like a true part of the production.”
He expressed, “I felt a newfound responsibility. I’ve always felt proud and connected to that film as it marked a crucial part of my development in this industry, allowing me to be a genuine collaborator for the first time.”
