Los Angeles, Nov 27 (NationPress) Hollywood actress Millie Bobby Brown is providing fresh insights about her wedding day. The ‘Stranger Things’ star, aged 21, quietly wed Jake Bongiovi, the son of Jon Bon Jovi, 23, in a “very low-key, romantic affair with their closest family”.

Months later, the couple organized an extravagant wedding celebration in Italy, sharing social media snapshots from their grand event in October 2024, as reported by ‘People’ magazine.

During her recent appearance on the Dish podcast, Brown reflected on her wedding, revealing that British singer-songwriter Raye, aged 28, performed at the reception.

“Raye performed, which was amazing,” Brown expressed to hosts Nick Grimshaw and Angela Hartnett. “She sang during my dad and I’s daddy-daughter dance, all Frank Sinatra; it was incredible, truly epic.”

According to ‘People’, the actress, who shares a daughter with Bongiovi, mentioned that she “grew up performing numerous dance routines at family events,” leading her to realize that great music and dancing were essential for her wedding.

Before she danced with her father, Robert, as Raye sang, Brown performed a “six-minute dance” with Jake Bongiovi. “When Jake proposed, I thought, ‘We must learn a dance routine; it will be unforgettable, and when we’re 80 and the song plays, it will be special,’” Brown shared. “So, I arranged dance lessons for us. Initially, we considered doing Dirty Dancing, but I thought, ‘What if he gets that lift wrong? Talk about history!’”

She added, “Ultimately, since my favorite movie is Grease 2, we chose a medley of Grease songs, which turned out to be about a six-minute dance. People said, ‘Oh my god, you can tell she’s an actor.’ It was so enjoyable. It was fantastic.”

Brown and Jake Bongiovi’s ceremony took place at Villa Cetinale in Italy, officiated by her ‘Stranger Things’ co-star, Matthew Modine, who portrays her on-screen father figure, Dr. Martin Brenner. The actress dazzled in four exquisite dresses during her Italian wedding.
