Chennai, Feb 25 (NationPress) The renowned Malayalam actor Mohanlal revealed the character Balraj, portrayed by actor Abhimanyu Singh, in director Prithviraj’s much-anticipated political action film L2: Empuraan (L2E) on Tuesday.
On his X timeline, Mohanlal shared, “Character No 3. Abhimanyu Singh as Balraj in #L2E #EMPURAAN.” He also provided a link to a YouTube video where Abhimanyu Singh discusses his role in the movie.
Regarding his character, Abhimanyu Singh expressed, “I portray Balraj in Empuraan: Lucifer 2. Balraj is a remarkably intricate character. He embodies numerous aspects. The many layers to him made the portrayal fascinating. As the narrative progresses, he experiences substantial transformation. That evolution was truly enjoyable to work on.”
The actor further mentioned that collaborating with director Prithviraj was an extraordinary opportunity. “He (b>Prithviraj) is an excellent actor himself and directing the film was his biggest advantage, as having an actor in the director’s role ensures everything aligns perfectly.”
Starring Mohanlal, L2: Empuraan (L2E) is helmed by actor Prithviraj, produced by Antony Perumbavoor and Subaskaran. The screenplay is crafted by Murali Gopy and the musical score is composed by Deepak Dev. The film’s cinematography is handled by Sujith Vaassudev, with editing by Akhilesh Mohan.
It is noteworthy that Prithviraj had earlier announced that this film would be a commercial entertainer featuring Mohanlal. According to Murali Gopy, this is the second part of a trilogy.
