Chennai, Feb 20 (NationPress) The renowned Malayalam icon Mohanlal introduced Subhadra Ben as the character portrayed by actress Nikhat Khan Hegde in the highly anticipated political action thriller L2: Empuraan (L2E), directed by Prithviraj.
On his X timeline, Mohanlal shared, “Character No14 Nikhat Khan Hegde as Subhadra Ben in #L2E #EMPURAAN.” He also included a link to a YouTube video where Nikhat Hegde discussed her role in the film.
Nikhat Hegde described her character, stating, “Subhadra Ben is a royal woman who owns a vast haveli; she exudes regality yet possesses profound humanity. She provides support to individuals facing difficulties. Thus, she embodies love and resilience, but there is also an element of betrayal.”
She added, “Through Subhadra Ben, I explored various emotional dimensions and feel privileged to convey a significant message in Empuraan through my role. Working on this film and with Prithviraj was a delightful experience. I am truly honored to be part of this project.”
