Mumbai, Sep 18 (NationPress) Bihar cinema superstar Pawan Singh has departed from the reality show ‘Rise & Fall’. This exit comes at a time when the show was experiencing a surge in popularity, mainly due to the actor-politician's hilarious exchanges with social media influencer and chat show host Nayandeep Rakshit.
A source from the production informed IANS that the actor's family arrived to pick him up on set. As he was leaving, he told the contestants, “I was never a contestant but just came for a brief period.”
This is the second departure from the show, following wrestler Sangeeta Phogat, daughter of the famed wrestling coach Mahavir Singh Phogat, who inspired the film ‘Dangal’.
Earlier, during a heartfelt conversation with contestant Arbaz Patel, content creator Dhanashree Verma addressed the persistent rumors surrounding her divorce from cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal. She described the gossip as “baseless” and “deliberately fabricated.”
Dhanashree stated, “All this talk about my divorce is completely made up. I have already left that chapter behind.”
She emphasized her determination to move past the speculation. In response, Arbaz Patel expressed empathy, saying, “People will always create stories, but what you feel inside is what truly matters. I’ve had to explain my struggles countless times.”
This candid exchange was one of the few instances where two contestants on ‘Rise & Fall’, typically seen plotting and competing against each other, revealed a softer and more vulnerable side.
