This exit comes at a time when the show was experiencing a surge in popularity, mainly due to the actor-politician's hilarious exchanges with social media influencer and chat show host Nayandeep Rakshit.
A source from the production informed IANS that the actor's family arrived to pick him up on set. As he was leaving, he told the contestants, “I was never a contestant but just came for a brief period.”
