Mumbai, March 24 (NationPress) Actress Rhea Chakraborty paid a visit to the renowned Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai on Monday, following the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) exonerating her from any role in the Sushant Singh Rajput case.

The actress, who had faced significant public scrutiny, was accompanied by her brother Showik and father as she offered her prayers at the temple. A video circulating online shows Rhea dressed modestly in a simple suit, stopping for the paparazzi before she entered the Siddhivinayak Temple. We appreciate the CBI for thoroughly investigating every detail of the case and closing it. The volume of false narratives circulating on social media and the news was completely unjustified. During the pandemic, many were glued to their screens, leading to the hounding of innocent individuals. I hope this scenario does not repeat in future cases.”

He further remarked, “I urge media leaders to reflect on their actions. Rhea Chakraborty faced unimaginable hardships and spent 27 days behind bars without any fault of her own until Justice Sarang V. Kotwal granted her bail.
