On a personal note, Rinku was once married to actor Kiran Karmarkar, who portrayed Om Agarwal, her on-screen brother in Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii. They fell in love during the series' production and tied the knot in 2001. After over 15 years of marriage, they separated and finalized their divorce in 2017. They share a son.
