On March 18, in Los Angeles (NationPress), Hollywood actress Salma Hayek revealed her preference for distancing herself from technology. She expressed her fondness for written communication, stating she prefers to write everything by hand, does not possess a computer, rarely uses a cell phone, and avoids online shopping.
Hayek believes that maintaining a low online presence allows her to steer clear of AI-driven algorithms.
In an interview with Marie Claire, she mentioned: “(AI) diminishes your intelligence because it makes the brain complacent. I write everything by hand. My papers are all over the place. I hardly use my phone. They cannot profile me. I don’t shop online. I don’t order food through the Internet. Artificial intelligence doesn’t know who I am.”
