Mumbai, July 13 (NationPress) Bollywood star Sara Ali Khan, who is garnering significant acclaim for her performance in the newly released film 'Metro...In Dino', once candidly admitted that she is quite the miser.
A recently resurfaced clip from a segment of Kapil Sharma's show features the actress and her co-star from 'Zara Hatke Zara Bachke', Vicky Kaushal, engaging in a light-hearted discussion about her frugal tendencies.
During the conversation, Sara declared, “I assure you, you won't find anyone more miserly than me. We talked about a bar at Vicky’s place, while I have been contemplating getting a car for three years and haven’t made that purchase yet. My frugality knows no bounds.”
Vicky added, “Let me share a little story. We were shooting in Indore, and her mother, Amrita Singh, visited for a few days. One day, I noticed her reprimanding her mom. When I inquired, I initially thought it was something personal. She mentioned that her mom had bought a towel for Rs. 1,600.”
Sara interjected, “There are free towels available in the vanity van; they provide two or three each day. Why would anyone buy a towel for Rs. 1,600?”
Previously, Sara expressed her astonishment at director Anurag Basu’s unique filmmaking approach, which unfolded throughout the shooting process.
She noted that the director allows ample freedom for his actors, leading to truly magical moments captured on screen.
'Metro In Dino' is presented by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series, in collaboration with Anurag Basu Productions Pvt. Ltd., and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Anurag Basu, and Taani Basu. The film is currently screening in theaters.
