Mumbai, March 12 (NationPress) As Holi approaches, actress Seerat Kapoor has revealed her crucial beauty tips to safeguard her hair and skin during the vibrant festivities.

Seerat shared insights into her personal Holi skincare and haircare regimen that allows her to celebrate the festival without concerns. She expressed, “Holi has always held special memories for me. I adore the enthusiasm of this festival. It’s filled with energy, music, laughter, and indulging in delicious treats like coconut and mawa-stuffed gujiya, thandai, and jalebis sets the perfect tone. While the colors add magic to Holi, I make it a point to use only eco-friendly and herbal colors. Synthetic colors can be detrimental to both skin and hair, so it’s vital to play it safe and relish every moment responsibly.”

She encouraged her followers to celebrate Holi with natural colors and to prioritize safety while partaking in the celebrations. “Holi embodies the essence of love and joy. Just remember to be cautious with your skin and hair, play responsibly, and create wonderful memories,” she added.

To protect her skin, the actress suggested applying a thick layer of moisturizer or sunscreen to form a protective shield. “I ensure to coat my body with a quality moisturizer and sunscreen before heading out. This prevents my skin from absorbing harmful chemicals present in the colors,” Seerat explained.

In preparation for the colorful festivities, she emphasized the significance of oiling hair. “Before going out for Holi, I always apply a generous amount of coconut or almond oil to my hair. This creates a protective barrier that stops the colors from penetrating the strands and keeps my hair from becoming dry and damaged,” she shared.

Moreover, the Run Raja Run actress recommended styling hair in a braid or bun to reduce exposure to colors and avoid tangling, making hair easier to manage.

Seerat also highlighted the importance of staying hydrated, advising everyone to drink ample amounts of water and herbal liquids to nourish their hair and skin from within.

“Consuming sufficient water and herbal drinks will assist in detoxifying your body and maintaining the health of your hair and skin from the inside out. Don’t forget to moisturize your skin before stepping out for Holi to keep it soft and protected,” Seerat advised.

The Holi 2025 celebrations are set to occur on March 13 and 14, commencing with Holika Dahan and followed by Rangwali Holi.
