Mumbai, July 3 (NationPress) Director Shivam Nair is preparing for the launch of the much-anticipated season of the hit streaming series ‘Special Ops’. He recently discussed the realm of OTT and the creative freedom it provides to artists.
In an interview with IANS prior to the season's debut, Nair revealed his deliberate shift from television to cinema and OTT platforms. His extensive experience across all three mediums positions him uniquely to provide insights on the subject.
Nair expressed to IANS, “Working on OTT with ‘Special Ops’ is undoubtedly a significant opportunity for me. Coming from a television background, I made a conscious choice to evolve from that space. Honestly, it has been an incredible opportunity.”
He further elaborated, “Around six or seven years ago, when I stepped away from television, if someone had presented me with a film that required a budget comparable to what ‘Special Ops’ necessitates, we would be discussing something exceeding INR 1000 crores.”
