Chennai, Sep 23 (NationPress) The production team behind 'Draupathi 2', an anticipated historical action drama directed by Mohan G Kshatriyan and starring Richard Rishi in the lead role, announced on Tuesday that filming has been successfully concluded.

Insiders report that the crew commenced shooting in Mumbai and wrapped up with the schedule in Ariyallur.

For those unfamiliar, Richard Rishi is notably the brother-in-law of the renowned South Indian actor Ajith Kumar.

The sequel has generated significant buzz among fans since its announcement, with the first look poster heightening anticipation.

Upon completion of shooting, director Mohan G stated, "Regardless of meticulous planning, the successful execution of a film hinges on the unwavering support from the producer. Overcoming logistical challenges is paramount, and although this is Chola Shakkaravarthi's first production, his relentless passion for cinema and his extensive knowledge of the art form have enabled us to maintain exceptional quality standards."

Draupathi 2, a bilingual historical action drama in Tamil and Telugu, is produced by Chola Shakkaravarthi of Netaji Productions in collaboration with G.M Film Corporation.

Alongside Richard Rishi, Rakshana Indusudan stars as the female lead, with Natti Natraj in a pivotal role. The cast also includes Y. G. Mahendran, Nadodigal Barani, Saravana Subbiah, Vel Ramamoorthy, Siraj Johnny, Dinesh Lamba, Ganesh Gaurang, Divi, Devayani Sharma, and Arunodayan.

The film's dialogues are crafted by Padma Chandrasekhar and Mohan G. The music score is composed by Ghibran Vaibodha, with cinematography by Philip R. Sundar, choreography by Thanika Tony, stunt coordination by Action Santosh, editing by Devaraj, and art direction by Kamalnathan.
