Chennai, Oct 20 (NationPress) The production team behind director Mohan G Kshatriyan's highly anticipated historical action drama, 'Draupathi 2', unveiled a stunning new poster featuring actor Richard Rishi, celebrating the actor's special day today.

Director Mohan G Kshatriyan shared the vibrant poster on his social media, depicting Richard Rishi riding a horse. He expressed, "Wishing a joyous Diwali to all Indians. Team #Draupathi2 extends heartfelt birthday wishes to our beloved hero @richardrishi #HBDRichardRishi."

It is noteworthy that the film's shooting wrapped up successfully in September this year.

The shoot began in Mumbai and concluded with the Ariyallur schedule.

For those unaware, Richard Rishi, who stars as the lead, is related to the popular South Indian actor Ajith Kumar.

Excitement has been building among fans since the announcement of this sequel.

'Draupathi 2', a Tamil-Telugu bilingual historical action drama, is being produced by Chola Shakkaravarthi of Netaji Productions in collaboration with G.M Film Corporation.

Rakshana Indusudan plays the female lead, with Natti Natraj in a significant role. The cast also includes Y. G. Mahendran, Nadodigal Barani, Saravana Subbiah, Vel Ramamoorthy, Siraj Johnny, Dinesh Lamba, Ganesh Gaurang, Divi, Devayani Sharma, and Arunodayan.

The film's dialogues have been collaboratively written by Padma Chandrasekhar and Mohan G. The musical score is crafted by Ghibran Vaibodha, while cinematography is by Philip R. Sundar. Choreography is managed by Thanika Tony and stunt coordination is handled by Action Santosh. Editing is overseen by Devaraj, with art direction by Kamalnathan.

Sources hint that the film aims to immerse audiences in the splendor of 14th-century South India through captivating storytelling, breathtaking visuals, and a remarkable cast. With post-production moving swiftly, the team is targeting a release in December this year.
