Mumbai, April 25 (NationPress) The renowned singer Shreya Ghoshal has made the decision to cancel her scheduled concert in Surat due to the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir.

Shreya took to her Instagram stories to announce this change. "In response to the recent and heartbreaking incidents, the event organizers and the artist have jointly decided to cancel the concert set for this Saturday, April 26th, in Surat," the statement read.

The singer also reassured concertgoers that they will receive a full refund for their purchased tickets, which will soon be processed back to their original payment method.

The announcement continued, "All ticket purchasers will obtain complete refunds, which will be credited back to your original payment method. For any inquiries, please reach out to events@district.in. We appreciate your understanding."

Just a day prior, Arijit Singh also canceled his concert in Chennai following the Pahalgam attack.

He posted on his Instagram stories a message from the event organizers stating, "In light of the recent and tragic events, the organizers along with the artist have collectively decided to cancel the upcoming concert scheduled in Chennai this Sunday, April 27."

"All ticket holders will receive full refunds, and the amount will be automatically returned to your original payment method. For any questions, please contact events@district.in. Thank you for your understanding," the note added.

On April 22, a horrific terrorist attack targeted tourists in the Baisaran Valley of the Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir region, resulting in approximately 26 fatalities. The attackers reportedly separated the victims based on their religion before executing them.

The terrorist group, The Resistance Front (TRF), has claimed responsibility for this attack. TRF is associated with the Pakistan-based terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba and emerged following the significant abrogation of Article 370 in the region.
