Mumbai, Feb 15 (NationPress) Actress Sneha Jain, recognized for her role in the series Janam Janam Ka Saath Hai on Dangal, has made her return to the small screen after a hiatus of 1.5 years with the show Megha Barse. She revealed that during her time away from television, she delved deeply into religion and spirituality.
“I took a 1.5-year break. After Janam Janam Ka Saath Hai, I wasn’t on TV for 1.5 years. While I engaged in some web projects, my return to television marks the end of this long break. Throughout this period, I traveled extensively and truly enjoyed my life,” Sneha commented.
“When we’re working on shows, we often lack time for personal reflection. Hence, I dedicated this break to travel with friends and family, participate in workshops, acquire new skills, and most importantly, explore spirituality. I valued my spiritual journey immensely. I took the time to thoughtfully contemplate life and consider my next steps,” she explained.
She emphasized that sometimes, it is crucial to pause, observe, and reflect on your journey rather than rush through life. “You must take a moment to think—how did I begin, where am I currently, and where do I aspire to go next? This break was vital for me. Even during my time off from shooting, I was continuously focusing on self-improvement. Ultimately, what truly counts is how well you care for yourself—mentally, physically, and emotionally,” she said.
“Moreover, the connections you maintain with your family, friends, yourself, and your divine essence are essential. I thoroughly enjoyed this period!”
Discussing her experiences during this time, she shared, “It was an extraordinary journey where I explored religion and spirituality profoundly. I have never felt this peaceful and centered before. Over the past 1.5 years, I have evolved into a completely different individual.”
“Now, I listen more attentively, exhibit greater patience, and comprehend situations more clearly. Spirituality teaches that the deeper your love for the divine, the deeper your love for yourself becomes—because, ultimately, the divine resides within you. I do not regret taking this break, nor did I feel guilty about it. I genuinely relished it. Now that I’m back, I’m eager to work and give it my all,” she added.
“I am aware that once I resume shooting, my personal life may take a backseat due to the long 12–13-hour shooting schedules. However, that’s the balance—enjoy life when not working, and fully commit when you are,” she concluded.
