Mumbai, March 5 (NationPress) The film "Sanam Teri Kasam", featuring Harshvardhan Rane and Mawra Hocane, has set new benchmarks as a re-released movie.

While audiences are expressing their affection for the film, they are equally enamored with its soundtrack. Sreerama Chandra, the voice behind the unforgettable track "Haal-e-Dil" from the 2016 film, shared his thoughts on the renewed appreciation for the song following the movie's re-release.

Sreerama Chandra reminisced, “The song Haal-e-Dil holds a special place in my heart, as it was crafted by the talented Himesh Reshammiya, who also gave me my debut hit Bollywood song, Balma from Khiladi 786. I have collaborated with Himesh ji on several tracks, and during the production of Sanam Teri Kasam, he mentioned that he had a beautiful song for me, referencing KK’s Tadap Tadap and encouraging me to deliver an impressive performance.”

He expressed his gratitude for reuniting with the successful team behind "Balma", including lyricist Sameer Anjjan, saying, “This opportunity was incredible, and I felt an overwhelming sense of joy while singing this song. It was as if someone’s soul was singing through me, and I could deeply connect with every word penned by Sameer Sir. The song was well-received initially, although many were unaware that I was the voice behind it. However, the re-release has brought it even more recognition, and now people are aware that I performed the song. I feel extremely fortunate and sincerely thank Himesh ji for granting me this significant opportunity to sing such a classic.”

Released on February 7, 2025, "Sanam Teri Kasam" has emerged as the highest-grossing re-released Indian film.

The narrative revolves around the unique love story between a rugged ex-convict, Inder (played by Harshvardhan Rane), and a conservative librarian, Saru (portrayed by Mawra Hocane).
