Mumbai, Aug 20 (NationPress) Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan, who recently starred in ‘Dunki’, graced the trailer launch of his son’s forthcoming streaming series ‘Ba***ds of Bollywood’ in Mumbai.

The event saw the presence of numerous prominent figures from the Hindi film industry, taking place at YRF Studios located in the Andheri region of Mumbai on Wednesday.

At the event, SRK engaged with the media and provided insights regarding his recent injury. He stated, “I experienced a shoulder injury which required surgery. This was not a minor procedure; it was significant in both complexity and duration. I anticipate a full recovery in about 1-2 months.”

He humorously added, “However, to lift the National Award, I only need one hand. I can manage many tasks with one hand, like eating, brushing my teeth, and scratching an itch. The only thing that requires both hands is gathering the love you all have shown me.”

SRK sustained a muscle injury while shooting for his upcoming film ‘King’ and was promptly taken to the USA for treatment. He had to halt the filming of ‘King’ midway, resulting in a reported month-long hiatus from the shoot.

In other news, SRK recently received his first National Award for Best Actor after 33 years in the industry, sharing this honor with Vikrant Massey, recognized for his role in ‘12th Fail’. After the announcement regarding his award for ‘Jawan’, SRK appeared with his arm in a sling to convey a heartfelt message to his fans.

In the video, he expressed, “I’m filled with gratitude, pride, and humility. Receiving the National Award is a moment I will treasure forever. I extend my gratitude to the jury, the chairman, and the INB ministry, along with everyone who deemed me deserving of this honor. Special thanks to my directors and writers, particularly for the year 2023.”

“So, thank you, Raju sir, thank you, Saeed, and especially to Atlee sir and his team for trusting me with 'Jawaan' and enabling me to earn this award,” he concluded.
