Singrauli (Madhya Pradesh), July 25 (NationPress) In an inspiring demonstration of rapid government action and empathetic governance, Sandeep Singh, a local of Singrauli district in Madhya Pradesh, received a critical opportunity for survival due to the prompt intervention of the PM Shri Air Ambulance service.
Initially, Sandeep was admitted to Nehru Hospital after experiencing acute breathing difficulties alongside complications from kidney failure. Medical professionals at the facility evaluated his condition as dire, urging an immediate transfer to a more advanced medical institution in a larger city.
However, financial barriers posed a significant challenge for Sandeep’s family in arranging the necessary urgent transition as directed by the healthcare providers.
Faced with this challenge, the family sought assistance from Singrauli District Collector Chandrashekhar Shukla. The Collector recognized the gravity of the situation and acted swiftly.
Without hesitation, he facilitated the arrangement of an air ambulance from Bhopal through the PM Shri Air Ambulance initiative.
Sandeep was successfully airlifted and subsequently admitted to AIIMS Bhopal, where timely and advanced medical intervention played a crucial role in stabilizing his health. He is now on the path to recovery, bringing immense relief and joy to his family.
The family extended their heartfelt gratitude towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav for their invaluable support. A family member remarked, “This goes beyond mere medical help; it signifies the restoration of hope and joy in our household.”
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav emphasized that the PM Shri Air Ambulance service serves as a vital resource for critically ill patients, particularly those from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.
“Patients with an Ayushman card qualify for this air ambulance service when referred to major hospitals in metropolitan areas. To date, individuals from nearly 17 districts have benefitted from this service,” the Chief Minister noted.
He further encouraged the community to adopt a spirit of service and solidarity. “Every individual should strive to assist one another. Let’s unite to support each other in times of need,” he urged.
