Did the Baloch Liberation Army Target the Pakistani Army's Surveillance System?

Quetta, June 11 (NationPress) The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) claimed responsibility on Wednesday for an attack on the surveillance apparatus of the Pakistani army in the Zardalou region of Harnai district in Balochistan, Pakistan.

In an official release, the BLA indicated that their fighters conducted the operation on June 10, successfully damaging the surveillance system of the 'occupying' forces.

According to the statement, 'The occupying forces had established at least two towers, each outfitted with four modern cameras. These cameras were intended to monitor freedom fighters from a distance and to shield themselves from potential attacks. All cameras were rendered inoperable as a result of our operation, and for this, the Baloch Liberation Army takes full responsibility.'

Recently, the BLA has reported multiple assaults on Pakistani forces across various districts in Balochistan.

The BLA also mentioned their involvement in an attack on a post occupied by the Pakistani army in the Bibi Nani area of Bolan.

'On June 10 at 8 PM, our fighters targeted the post of the occupying Pakistani forces in the Bibi Nani area of Bolan. The attack led to casualties among the occupying forces, and the Baloch Liberation Army accepts responsibility for this incident,' stated the BLA.

Moreover, the BLA asserted that they also engaged Pakistani forces in the Johan area of Kalat, resulting in the deaths of two security personnel.

'Our freedom fighters executed a powerful assault on the Pakistani forces' post in the Johan area of Kalat using rockets and other heavy weaponry. The attack resulted in the death of two personnel from the occupying forces. The BLA is committed to continuing this struggle until an independent and sovereign Balochistan is achieved,' the statement continued.

The BLA reported that on June 7, they launched a significant attack on a check post of Pakistani forces in the Shekhari region of Kalat, utilizing rockets and other heavy automatic weapons. This confrontation reportedly lasted for hours, resulting in three personnel from the Pakistani forces being killed and three others injured. Following the attack, it was noted that the Pakistani forces were compelled to send reinforcements to recover the deceased and injured.

People in Balochistan are currently striving for independence from Pakistan. Various human rights organizations have consistently highlighted the repression faced by the Balochi population, including violent raids on the homes of local leaders and civilians, illegal arrests, enforced disappearances, and a 'kill and dump' policy.

Last month, the BLA issued a media statement titled 'A New Order has Become Inevitable in the Region,' calling on the international community to recognize Pakistan as a creator of terrorism and a terrorist entity. They criticized Pakistan's historical military policies, which they allege have led to diplomatic isolation and a legacy marked by broken promises and treachery.
