In a broadcast by Houthi-operated al-Masirah TV, military spokesperson Yahya Sarea stated, "This operation occurred while US forces were gearing up for a new airstrike against Yemen." Sarea pledged to persist with attacks targeting Israel and US military forces until, as he expressed, "the conflict in Gaza ceases."
