Earlier this month, as part of efforts to enhance cooperation between India and Guatemala across critical sectors, Indian Ambassador Raj Kumar Singh held a series of meetings with Guatemalan Ministers discussing ways to further strengthen ties in the defense and health sectors.
Singh engaged with Guatemalan Minister of Public Health and Social Assistance Joaquin Barnoya to bolster health cooperation between the two nations.
The discussions revolved around expanding collaboration in biotechnology, medical supplies, Ayurveda, the Mid-Day Meal Scheme (PM-POSHAN), medical tourism, and affordable generics under the Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana (PMBJP).
