Jerusalem, Nov 12 (NationPress) Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu extended heartfelt condolences to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the citizens of India following the tragic car explosion near Delhi's Red Fort, which resulted in numerous fatalities and injuries.
In a message shared on X, Netanyahu highlighted the longstanding bond between India and Israel, both of which are ancient civilizations grounded in timeless principles. He underscored that acts of terror will not undermine the unwavering spirit of the people from both nations.
"To our dear friend Narendra Modi and the courageous people of India: Sara and I, along with the people of Israel, extend our deepest sympathies to the families of the victims. Israel stands firm with you in both sorrow and strength during this challenging period," the Israeli Prime Minister's Office stated on X.
"India and Israel are ancient civilizations that uphold eternal truths. While terror may target our cities, it will never shake our souls. The light of our nations will outshine the darkness of our adversaries," it continued.
On the same day, Prime Minister Modi visited LNJP Hospital in Delhi, where he met survivors of the Red Fort explosion, vowing that those responsible will face justice.
Prime Minister Modi took to the social media platform X, stating, "I visited LNJP Hospital and met with those hurt during the blast in Delhi. I pray for everyone's swift recovery. Those behind the conspiracy will face justice."
Upon arriving in the national capital on Wednesday afternoon after a two-day trip to Bhutan, he went directly to LNJP Hospital to interact with the injured, wishing them a speedy recovery.
The Prime Minister was briefed by medical staff and senior officials regarding the patients' conditions and ongoing treatment.
Earlier, Prime Minister Modi assured in his address at Changlimethang Ground in Thimphu that action would be taken against the masterminds behind the deadly car blast in Delhi. He stated that Indian agencies would thoroughly investigate the conspiracy and affirmed that those responsible would not escape justice.
"I come here with a heavy heart. The horrific event that occurred in Delhi yesterday evening has deeply affected us all. I empathize with the victims' families. The entire nation stands with them. Throughout the night, I coordinated with all agencies investigating this event... Our agencies will uncover the truth behind this conspiracy. The conspirators will not evade accountability. All those responsible will be brought to justice," he expressed.
On Tuesday, Israel's Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar also conveyed condolences to the people of India, particularly the families of the victims affected by the Delhi blast. He reaffirmed Israel's support for India in its fight against terrorism.
"I extend my deepest condolences from Israel to the people of India and especially to the families of the innocent victims lost in the explosion at the heart of Delhi. Wishing a rapid recovery to the wounded. Israel stands firm with India in its battle against terror," Sa'ar posted on X.
