New Delhi, Feb 18 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Finnish Prime Minister Petteri Orpo engaged in discussions aimed at boosting collaboration in the realms of sustainability, digital transformation, AI research, and ethical innovation on Wednesday.

The Finnish Prime Minister arrived in India earlier that day to participate in the AI Impact Summit and held a bilateral meeting with PM Modi at the Hyderabad House in New Delhi, coinciding with the event.

The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) highlighted that both leaders explored avenues for leveraging Indian talent to enhance the bilateral relationship between their nations.

Through a post on X, the Ministry stated, "Prime Minister Narendra Modi conducted bilateral discussions with Finnish Prime Minister Petteri Orpo during the AI Impact Summit 2026 in New Delhi. They engaged in dialogue regarding cooperation in sustainability, digitalisation, AI research, ethical innovation, and the potential of Indian talent to strengthen bilateral collaboration."
